Sorry to hear that loneliness is getting you down
Your parents probably thought that it would do you good to see them (they probably miss you). I guess that there are no simple solutions to feeling lonely. Its one of life's tests, testing your ability to function independently. All I can suggest is 1. make more friends in your current location, 2. find something that keeps you very busy so you dont have time to feel lonely, 3. get Skype so you can make long phone calls to your loved ones for nothing.
